Apple has announced that “Let Loose” will be the theme of a special event on May 7. The event will take place entirely online and will start at 3 p.m. in Portugal. New iPad hardware and accessories, such as the new iPad Pro, iPad Air, Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard, are expected to be the focus.
New Apple Pencil
According to rumours, the new Apple Pencil may include the “Find My” feature and interchangeable magnetic tips that emulate various writing and drawing instruments. There are also rumours of a new “squeeze” gesture for Apple Pencil. I have already mentioned the possibility that this new accessory may support Vision Pro.
iPad Pro with OLED
OLED displays will be used in the new iPad Pro lineup, which includes 11-inch and 12.9-inch models. The designs will be thinner than before.
iPad Air expansion
The iPad Air will grow from 10.9 inches to a new 12.9-inch size. According to last-minute rumours, the 12.9-inch model will feature a mini-LED display.
Updated Magic Keyboard
Apple is working on an updated Magic Keyboard for the new iPad Pro. The more robust aluminium structure will make the iPad Pro feel more like a laptop.
