Apple has released a new ad highlighting the “Find My Friends” feature available in the Find My app on all iPhone 15 models. In the ad, a person dressed as the Star Wars Mandalorian uses the feature to find their friends in a crowded convention center.

To use Find My Friends, both people must have an iPhone 15. Just like with an AirTag, the feature supports Precision Finding, which shows a directional arrow on the screen and the exact distance to the other person’s location.

The ad has a playful tone and shows the Mandalorian walking through the convention center, passing various Star Wars characters and scenes, such as a BB-8 droid and an X-Wing starfighter. It also shows Face ID used to unlock the iPhone 15, which is protected by a beskar-style case. The ad ends with him finding his friends, who are dressed similarly, and saying “This is the way,” a popular line from the Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
