The day before yesterday, Apple released watchOS 10.3.1, a minor update to the watchOS 10 operating system, which came out in September last year. A few weeks after the release of watchOS 10.3, this update arrived, which had introduced a new watch face.
You can download watchOS 10.3.1 for free in the Apple Watch app on an iPhone running iOS 17 or any later version, by opening the app and selecting “General” and “Software Update.” For the new software to install, the Apple Watch must be on the charger and have at least 50% battery available.
According to Apple’s release notes, the watchOS 10.3.1 update includes unspecified “improvements and bug fixes.” This suggests that the update likely does not bring notable or visible changes for users. Instead, it addresses minor security issues that can affect the stability and operation of the Apple Watch.
