With the launch of the Apple Watch Series 10, Apple is preparing for a new revolution in the world of wearables. According to a recent report, the device is expected to have a larger display and a more sophisticated design, but the new health features may be delayed.
Innovative design
The Apple Watch Series 10, whose codenames are N217 and N218, is expected to feature a display similar to that of the Apple Watch Ultra. With schematics suggesting a 2-inch screen, which is slightly larger than the Apple Watch Ultra’s 1.93-inch display, Apple appears to be focusing on delivering a better visual experience while maintaining the current design.
Improved performance
Although there are no immediate plans to use the full set of Apple Intelligence features, the new model will include a more powerful processor, laying the groundwork for future artificial intelligence enhancements.
Health features on hold
Despite the innovations, Apple is facing issues with the new health features. According to earlier reports, Series 10 may include blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection. The hypertension technology, however, has not shown the expected reliability in tests, which may delay the launch of these features. They will show trends in systolic and diastolic blood pressure over time, but not precise values.
With a renewed focus on design and performance, the Apple Watch Series 10 is on track to become a milestone in Apple’s product line. There is no doubt that Apple continues to push the limits of wearable technology, even if we may have to wait a bit longer for the promised health features.
