Firmware Update for AirPods Max

Apple has released a firmware update for the AirPods Max, version 6A325. As usual, Apple did not provide detailed information about what is new or what has been fixed in this update, which follows the one released in January.

Rumours say that previous AirPods Max updates reduced the effectiveness of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). This led to speculation that Apple may have intentionally weakened the feature so it can be improved and marketed as a new capability in future models.
