Google Photos brings Magic Editor to iPhone

Google announced that next month it will make its latest AI photo-editing feature, Magic Editor, available to all Google Photos users on iOS. This feature was a major highlight in last year’s marketing campaign for the Google Pixel 8 series and uses generative AI to carry out complex photo edits, such as filling gaps, repositioning people and adjusting the background of the photo.

Google Photos users on iOS and Android will be entitled to 10 Magic Editor edits per month. For more, a Google One Premium plan will be required.

To use the AI features, Apple devices must run iOS 15 or later. Google Photos is available as a free download for iPhone and iPad on the App Store.
