macOS: Renewal in Progress
According to Benjamin Mayo from Bloomberg, Apple is working on redesigning both iOS and macOS. Although iOS 18, which will launch this year, is under development, the redesign will not be a complete overhaul; only some graphical interface elements will change. Work on macOS started recently, but it is not expected to be completed before 2025 or 2026. The Cupertino company is updating the design to align it with visionOS.
WWDC and the launch of
iOS 18

Following Apple’s usual pattern, iOS 18 will be released to the public in September and remain in beta during the summer. Expectations around Artificial Intelligence and its role in iOS are high, but we will have to wait and see.
